Katia’s Kloset Foundation measures its work by the opportunities created for girls to continue their education, develop their potential, and move toward their goals.
From educational support and mentorship to community involvement, our work is focused on helping girls move forward with greater support, confidence, and possibility.
Our work begins with a focused commitment to supporting girls through education, mentorship, and opportunity.
YEARS OLD
The Foundation’s current program focus includes girls in an important stage of their educational journey.
GIRLS IN THE INITIAL PROGRAM GOAL
The Foundation initially set out to support five girls beginning secondary school in Côte d’Ivoire.
PROFESSIONAL MENTORS
Mentors bring professional experience, knowledge, and guidance to the girls the Foundation supports.
CORE AREAS OF SUPPORT
Mentorship, community service, and empowerment are central to the Foundation’s approach.
Change Starts With the Support Around a Girl
Our impact is built through several connected areas of support.
Helping girls overcome financial and educational barriers so they can continue their studies.
Connecting girls with experienced mentors who can provide guidance, encouragement, and perspective.
Helping girls recognize their strengths, develop their potential, and think about their future.
Bringing together girls, families, mentors, educators, professionals, and supporters around a shared commitment to opportunity.
A contribution can help address an immediate educational need. A mentor can provide guidance. A supportive community can give a girl encouragement and perspective.
Together, these forms of support can create something that goes beyond any single intervention.
Our work is designed to help girls continue their education, develop confidence, recognize their potential, and begin thinking more intentionally about what comes next.
Support creates opportunity.
Opportunity creates possibility.
Numbers can show the scale of a program, but stories show what that work means in people’s lives.
The Foundation documents the experiences, achievements, and moments that help tell the story of the girls and community members connected to its work.
FEATURED STORY
Nelly’s Educational Journey
At just nine years old, Nelly achieved a CEPE score of 141.04 points. The Foundation has documented its visit with Nelly and her family as part of its work with beneficiaries and its connection to their educational journeys.
Supporting a girl is not only about providing assistance at one point in time. The Foundation seeks to remain connected to the educational journeys of the girls it supports and understand how their needs develop over time.
Addressing educational and practical needs where support is available.
Building relationships with mentors, families, schools, and community members.
Staying connected to the girl’s educational journey and circumstances.
Using what the Foundation learns from its work to strengthen how it supports girls in the future.
Katia’s Kloset Foundation is still growing. Our impact today is focused, but our vision extends further.
We want to build a stronger network of educational support, mentorship, community involvement, and opportunity for girls in Côte d’Ivoire and beyond.

Whether you give, mentor, volunteer, or partner with us, you can help turn support into opportunity.
QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR IMPACT
Our Impact Supporting Girls’ Education in Côte d’Ivoire
Katia’s Kloset Foundation works to create meaningful opportunities for girls in Côte d’Ivoire through education, mentorship, educational assistance, personal development, and community support.
The Foundation’s impact begins with helping girls overcome barriers that can affect their education. Support may include educational expenses, school supplies, learning conditions, mentorship, and opportunities for personal development.
Mentorship is an important part of this work. By connecting girls with experienced mentors, the Foundation helps create access to guidance, encouragement, professional perspectives, and relationships that can support a girl throughout her educational journey.
The Foundation also follows the stories and experiences connected to its work, recognizing that meaningful impact is not measured only by numbers. It can also be seen in the opportunities girls receive, the confidence they develop, the relationships they build, and the possibilities they begin to imagine for their futures.
Through continued support from donors, mentors, volunteers, partners, and the wider community, Katia’s Kloset Foundation seeks to expand opportunities for girls in Côte d’Ivoire and build a stronger foundation for future generations.
